Wow that is a great quote! That goes along with the saying that you can please some of the people some of the time...
Boy I'd like to think it is God I am trying to please but I know I try to please people all of the time. Thanks for giving me something to ponder!
Ouch, I guess we all really need to get over pleasing people--- right? God forbid things ALWAYS stay the same!
I'm glad you put this quote on your blog as well. I think it's certainly worthy of posting in as many places as possible to reach as many people as possible. I definitely need the reminder, often. Maybe I'll post it by my mirror!
Do you know where the quote came from? I'm dealing with this situation in my ministry, and I refuse to please people by being something I am not, and change in any plans is causing quite the rifts!
