It's funny that you would ask that. They get that all the time, especially lately. Over Christmas I guess maybe 3 people thought they were twins. Anyway, no, they're not. The one on the left (Kristin) is 3 1/2 years older than Kelsey. Kristin is 21 and Kelsey is 17, almost 18. They were saying the other day that since Kendall has gotten taller (he is 14), they would love it if people would think they were triplets. I smiled at that thought. I am grateful that my kids love hanging out together and really enjoy each others company.
What a great picture! Your kids are such godly people. I feel so blessed to know them all, and so blessed to know you! You have done such a great job listening to God on how to raise them and God has used them to further His kingdom. Who knows how many people will come to Christ because you and Melvin have raised them in the way of the Lord!
If you're wondering where in the world did I get the title for my blog from, and if you noticed my "I Love Lucy" icon, and if you have any knowledge of the I Love Lucy content then you know that there would be times when Ricky would come home and Lucy was in some sort of dilemma and Ricky would be irked to his soul and look at her and say "Lucy, you've got some "splain'in" to do" , in his Cuban accent . Which translated means, "You've got some explaining to do." So my blog will deal with any and all things that I would like to explain and /or give my take on.
The first and most important thing about me is that I am a Spirit-filled Christian and consider this to be my foundation and purpose for living. Next to that, I am joyfully serving as wife to my best friend and companion of 26 years and mom/homeschooling teacher to three of the most incredible young people you will ever meet. Our children are ages 23, 19 and 16 and they are jewels. I teach Spanish to adults and ESL (English as a Second Language) to people from other cultures. I love meeting new people and love being with friends and family. All in all, I feel very blessed!
