Fill 'Er Up?

Went to a little town outside of Athens, GA today to pick up one of our vehicles that was being repaired. The town was Statham, GA. Pulled into a gas station and got out to start pumping and a man walked up to me and said "fill 'er up?" At first, I thought he was kidding. I haven't seen a full-service gas station since, well, I don't know when, probably the 70's (okay, so I'm a city girl). I looked at him and said, "are you kidding?" He looked at me and said, "you aren't from around here, are you?" I could not believe it, but he actually pumped our gas for us. It's been a long time. What a pleasant reminder of days gone by. And to the man at the Pure station in Statham I say, "thanks so much".
